Man-Down Protection
Should a worker fall, trip or lose consciousness the Opus T6 will detect that it is no longer upright. This will activate a countdown timer and audibly alert the user. If the radio remains ‘down’ when the timer expires, an alarm signal is sent to other Opus T6 users. They will receive an alert and the affected users I.D. will be verbally announced. The orange ‘panic button’ will instantly activate the alarm signal and a lone-worker timer is also available as an additional protection measure. A range of external devices, such as autodiallers, can also be activated automatically in these emergency situations.
High Performance
The Opus T6 delivers loud, clear audio and a very impressive communication range. The high capacity 1700mAh Lithium Ion rechargeable battery pack delivers more than 12 hours use between charges and a longer life battery is also available as an option. As standard, the Opus T6 is preset for use with an Ofcom Simple UK licence - a great value, off-the-shelf radio licence. However, for users that require additional flexibility radios can be configured to operate on most private business radio channels.
As your requirements develop the Opus T6 can grow with you. For example, the Opus T6 can be integrated to operate with alarm systems, auto-diallers and other devices to provide multiple levels of staff security and protection.
