Both models (DT844FF and the DT985FF ) offer the same features of course, but the DT985FF is both analogue and digital operation in UHF, whereas the DT844FF operates as analogue and is a VHF device.
There is an app available that allows the radios to be easily programmed and its simple to transfer programming from one handset to the other.
