The DN495 is newer technology from Entel. Its a E-PoC push to talk over cellular also known as PoC / Wi-Fi system. These radios that operate on a 4G LTE Wi-Fi PoC basis have virtually unlimited range and are perfect for critical communications over distance, but can equally operate on site too.The DN400 series of 2 way radios operate similarly to the regula PTT type of handset, but over cellular and of course they increase the benefits and features exponentially.

Like all Entel units, this series conforms to IP68 standard, the DN400 Series gives an excellent submergibility rating of any manufacturer. This DN400 Series protects against corrosion, withstanding total immersion in water to a depth of 2 metres for 4 hours to protect against the likely hazards encountered in any field of operation. Other brands fall far short in this respect. 

Fully configured
The DN495 and other models is fully configured to go right out of the box once you charge the battery and each radio includes everything including the charger!

Over the air programming and updates
The DN495 is updatable over the air and you will always have the latest firmware and other updates that can sometimes even increase the features and benefits of Entel products.
